- From rescue personnel, find where the person is being taken.
- Notify family or friends, if possible.
If in Virginia
You may call the Community Services Boards (CSB) OR Behavioral Health Authority (BHA). They are mandated to provide emergency services.
The Virginia Code requires that every city or county establish or, with other cities or counties, establish a CSB or BHA.
CSBs and the BHAs are responsible for assuring the delivery of community-based mental health, developmental, and substance abuse services to individuals with mental health or substance use disorders, intellectual disability, or co-occurring disorders.
